The LTC DR 750 GN Vario has a gear driven transmission of the main shaft. The drive consists of a 4-stage gearbox. The gearbox is driven by a powerful AC motor.
This motor is powered by an inverter. This allows you to set any desired speed within the 4 stages, even during turning operations. The advantage of this 4-stage drive with frequency controller is the enormous power in the low speeds. This is needed, for example, when drilling, tapping, trimming, etc. Setting the speed is done at the front of the machine.
The feed case is equipped with gears and is set by switch levers. Almost any feed rate and/or thread pitch can be set here, making virtually no change wheels necessary.
The bed is induction-hardened, ground in prism shape and provided with a large passage. The machine is CE equipped.
